NOW when Paul waited for them in Athens his spirit was stirred within him, when he SAW the CITY filled with idolatry. Therefore Paul argued in the Synagogue with the men of Judah and devout persons, and also in the market place DAILY, with all that met him. (Acts 17:16-17)
How many of us get stirred up like Paul when we see abominations and wickedness right before us ? Do we speak out against it, turn a blind eye, or ignorantly accept what clearly goes against the Scriptures?
